Narnia
A magical fantasy world in the books by C. S. Lewis.
Narnia is a magical world created by British author C.S. Lewis in his series of seven books called The Chronicles of Narnia. In these stories, ordinary children from England discover they can enter Narnia through unexpected passages: a wardrobe, a painting, or even a railway platform.
Narnia itself is a land of talking animals, mythical creatures, and epic adventures. A great lion named Aslan watches over the kingdom, helping its inhabitants fight against evil forces. Time works differently there: you might spend years in Narnia but return to find only minutes have passed in our world.
The first and most famous book, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, follows four siblings who stumble into Narnia during World War II and find themselves caught up in a battle against the White Witch, who has cursed the land into perpetual winter.
Since the 1950s, millions of readers have loved these stories for their imagination, adventure, and deeper meanings about courage, loyalty, and sacrifice. Today, when someone says something feels like “stepping into Narnia,” they mean it feels like entering a completely different magical world.
