Sunday school
A church class where people learn basic religious teachings.
Sunday school is a class held at a church, usually on Sunday mornings, where children and sometimes adults learn about their religion's teachings, stories, and values. Most commonly associated with Christian churches, Sunday school typically meets while the main worship service is happening, giving kids their own space to learn Bible stories, discuss moral lessons, and ask questions.
Today, many people use Sunday school as shorthand for any basic or introductory religious education.
