Countries can be autonomous too. An autonomous region governs itself even though it's part of a larger nation. Think of it like having your own bedroom in a house: you make the rules for your space, but you're still part of the family.

When you work autonomously on a project, you decide how to approach it without constant supervision. You're trusted to figure things out yourself. This kind of independence requires good judgment: autonomous workers or machines need to make smart decisions when no one is watching or guiding them.
