collaboration
Working together with others to reach a shared goal.
Collaboration means working together with other people toward a shared goal. When students collaborate on a science project, they divide up tasks, share ideas, and combine their different strengths to create something better than any one person could make alone. When musicians collaborate on a song, each person contributes their unique talents to the final piece.
Collaboration requires active participation from everyone involved. It means listening to others' ideas, being willing to compromise, and contributing your fair share of the effort. A group project where one person does all the work isn't collaboration. Real collaboration happens when everyone participates, respects different viewpoints, and works through disagreements constructively.
Throughout history, humanity's greatest achievements have come through collaboration: building cities, curing diseases, exploring space, and creating art that moves people across generations.
