drove
Past tense of drive, like drove a car yesterday.
The word drove has two completely different meanings. The first is the past tense of drive: You could say, “I drove to the park yesterday, and I will drive there again tomorrow.”
Drove is also a noun meaning a large group of animals moving together, like a drove of cattle being herded across a field. You might also hear about droves of people, meaning large crowds moving together toward something, like when fans arrive in droves at a concert.
