During World War II, German forces used a complex coding machine called the Enigma machine to send secret messages. British codebreakers worked for years to crack its codes, treating it like a massive puzzle. The machine's name fit perfectly: it created messages that seemed impossible to decipher.

When something remains an enigma, it keeps people curious and searching for answers. Some enigmas eventually get solved through hard work and clever thinking, while others stay mysterious for generations.
