When you stand at the edge of the Grand Canyon and feel overwhelmed by its scale, you're experiencing its immensity.

The word captures size so great that it makes you pause and think, a scale that overwhelms the senses. When you first consider the immensity of the universe, with its billions of galaxies, your mind struggles to comprehend something so vast.
