integrity
Being honest and doing the right thing all the time.
Integrity means being honest and doing the right thing even when no one is watching. Someone with integrity follows through on their promises, tells the truth even when it's difficult, and stays true to their values whether they're in front of a crowd or completely alone.
Imagine finding a wallet full of money on the playground. A person with integrity returns it, even though keeping it would be easy and no one would ever know. Integrity means your actions match your words: if you say you'll feed your neighbor's cat while they're away, you actually do it every day, not just the days you feel like it.
Someone with integrity is whole or complete: their private self and public self are the same person. They don't act one way around adults and another way around friends.
Integrity shows up in small moments: admitting you broke something, giving honest answers about your homework, or standing up for what's right even when your friends disagree. It's built through many small choices to be honest and fair.
