Your older sister might be a role model if she demonstrates qualities you admire and want to develop.
3. A person who poses for artists or wears clothes to show how they look. Fashion models walk runways or appear in photographs to display new clothing designs. An artist's model might sit still for hours while being painted or sculpted.
4. A simplified representation that helps explain how something works. Weather forecasters use computer models to predict storms. A scientist might create a model of how diseases spread or how the solar system formed. These models aren't perfect, but they help us understand complex systems by focusing on the most important parts.
