naturally
In a way that happens easily or by itself.
Naturally means in a way that comes easily or happens by itself, without force or artificial effort. When something occurs naturally, it follows the normal course of things. Rain falls naturally from clouds. Plants grow naturally toward sunlight. Some people are naturally good at math, meaning numbers and equations make sense to them without much struggle.
The word also describes behavior that feels genuine and unforced. A naturally confident person doesn't have to fake their confidence or think hard about appearing brave. They just are. When you're naturally curious, you ask questions without having to remind yourself to do it. Your interest springs up on its own.
You might hear someone say a friendship developed naturally, meaning it grew easily without anyone forcing it. Or that a solution came naturally to them, meaning they figured it out without strain. The opposite would be doing something awkwardly or with great effort, like when you practice a speech so many times that you can finally deliver it naturally, as if you're just talking to a friend rather than reciting memorized words.
Naturally can also mean “of course” or “as you'd expect”: “Naturally, the team that practiced the hardest won the championship.”
