pampered
Given too much special care, comfort, or treats.
Pampered means to be treated with excessive care, comfort, and indulgence. When someone is pampered, they receive special attention that goes beyond basic needs: think of a pet dog that gets gourmet treats, a plush bed, and daily brushing, or a person enjoying a spa day with massages and fancy lotions.
The word often suggests that someone is being spoiled or treated more luxuriously than necessary. A pampered child might never have to do chores or clean their room, with parents doing everything for them. While being pampered occasionally can feel wonderful, being pampered all the time can make life harder, because people may struggle with tasks they need to do independently.
You might hear people talk about pampering themselves with a special treat after working hard, or a hotel offering pampered guests extra services, like chocolates on their pillows.
