pee
Urine, the liquid waste your body releases when you pee.
Pee is the informal, everyday word for urine, the liquid waste your body produces. When you drink water or juice, your kidneys filter your blood and remove extra water and waste chemicals your body doesn't need. This waste liquid collects in your bladder until you need to use the bathroom.
The word pee is also a verb: when you pee, you're releasing urine from your body. It's a perfectly normal word that people use in conversation, though in medical settings doctors and nurses might say “urinate” instead.
Your body needs to pee several times a day to stay healthy. The color of your pee can tell you things about your health: very light yellow usually means you're drinking enough water, while dark yellow might mean you need to drink more. If you hold it too long when you need to pee, your bladder can get uncomfortable and eventually painful, which is your body's way of insisting you find a bathroom soon.
