unnoticeable
So hard to notice that people usually do not see it.
Unnoticeable means impossible or extremely difficult to detect or observe. When something is unnoticeable, it's so small, subtle, or well-hidden that people don't see, hear, or sense it, even when they're paying attention.
A tiny scratch on the back of your phone might be completely unnoticeable. The difference between 99% and 100% on a test is unnoticeable to most people who see your grade. When you're reading an exciting book, the sounds around you often become unnoticeable because you're so focused on the story.
Scientists work hard to make their measurements so precise that even unnoticeable differences matter. A chemist might detect changes in a substance that would be unnoticeable to anyone without special equipment. An editor catches typos that would be unnoticeable to casual readers.
The word suggests something exists but escapes attention. It's different from invisible, which means actually impossible to see. An unnoticeable stain might technically be visible if you looked closely enough, but in practice, nobody spots it. When you're trying to slip out of class unnoticed, you want your exit to be completely unnoticeable.
